There Is No Compromise

I haven’t felt the need to write about this topic for a few years, but suddenly I see the same thing is happening yet again; thus it will continue to happen, over and over, no matter where I’m writing, reading,  or interacting. People want to compromise on the bible and change it. People don’t like what it says because it offends. It does not compromise, so people tell us that we will have to. We must become “politically correct.” We must soften as Christians, we must compromise.

It’s the times we’re living in. It’s not coincidence. There are actually “new gospels” being preached over and over, offered by those who wish to give us a kinder, gentler, more updated gospel. Guess what! If you don’t like the old gospel, the powers that be can and will simply spin you a new one! But beware….

Believe it or not, readers, we received a stern warning in the bible in Galatians chapter one, via Paul.

In this part of the bible, Paul is lecturing passionately because apparently the same thing that is happening now was happening then. At that time, Paul was preparing the body of Christ for the trickery they would be exposed to, and thus it’s obvious that we must expect the very same thing and prepare ourselves and one another, just as they did then.

Historically-speaking, some things just don’t change; Satan attempting to trick and deceive the body of Christ is one of the things we can count on until this old Earth passes away and a new one is created.

Now let’s look at what Paul says:

“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all.

Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!

As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. Galations 1: 6-12

And again we have yet another warning!

For if he who comes to you would preach another Jesus to you, whom we have not preached to you, or you should receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you have not received, you may well be persuaded.”  – 2 Corinthians 11:4

Jesus and His disciples were very clear about a few things. We cannot compromise on these:
  • Jesus was born of a virgin and is divine; His divinity cannot be questioned.
  • Salvation is received through Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. To get to God, one must go through only Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus Christ is divine, the holy Son of God, but also came in a fleshly human body to walk the earth and die for the sins of the world, thus He is indeed both man and God.
  • Jesus Christ was crucified for the sins of the world, rose on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. There is God the Father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ the Son.
  • Jesus Christ will return for His church, the Second Coming.
  • If we call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved.
  • The scriptures are God-breathed, inspired, and sufficient to teach us.

We see these stated again and again for us within the Word:

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” -Acts 16:31

You crucified Jesus Christ, but God has brought him back to life. He is the stone that the builders rejected, the stone that has become the cornerstone. No one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by the power of the one named Jesus and not by any other person.” -Acts 4: 10-12

JJesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. – John 14:16

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; – John 11:25

If anyone attempts to nullify or change these words and the plan of All Mighty God to save your soul, recognize what he or she is up to! It’s a trick. It’s a horrific trick to steal away your God-given right to salvation. You have a right to choose for yourself and be saved if you want to be. No one should be fooled or tricked out of it. Remember…

There. is. no. compromise.

Satan would have you believe that there is, though. He wants you to compromise on what the bible says. Who else desires that you not be saved? Who else would do anything he could to prevent your salvation through any means?

View the current and future twisting and mauling of these verses and what they promise with suspicion and wary caution. No one has anything to gain through stealing away our salvation but Satan and those who help him, (whether they know they are helping him or not).

Do not be fooled. There is no compromise. Don’t believe anyone who says there is.

  1. You go for it girl, those Bible verse will scare the devil off. Do compromise! Never doubt! Teach your children not to think.
The tone here is is stark contrast to the previous one but then, I guess that was Rachel Held Evens who said:

“We want to ask questions that don’t have predetermined answers.”

    Can you feel the difference?
Your tone here sounds like it comes largely from fear and uncertainty — but is cloaked rock hard angry certainty.

  2. Just as Jesus quoted specific words to the devil when He was tempted, we have to be equally as certain and strong. Satan’s in his last moments, pulling out all of the stops to win the souls of the blinded and deceived. The bible is the word of God and it warns us to beware of those who try to twist and pervert what it says. We see lots of that going on right now, but to the extreme, Sabio. Example? Bishop Shelby Spong and many others..exactly who you’re promoting on your latest postings.

So yeah, I’m certain all right, but I’m not afraid. I already know what’s been foretold.

  3. Warrioress, this is very timely, powerful and spoken fearlessly. The Holy Spirit speaks through you.

I just want to say to Lantz, Bible verses don’t scare the devil; obedient people who are full of faith and use Bible verses, they scare Satan.

Many people don’t realize that Satan tries to counterfeit everything God does. This has been his agenda since he fell. The counterfeit thing looks, feels and even smells real to the person who does not truly know the real thing. A person must be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ to receive, from the Holy Spirit, the knowledge, understanding and wisdom needed to discern the difference between the real and the counterfeit.

Thanks Warrioress, for this post. No compromise! (^_^)

  4. Excellent post. Thank you for hearing God’s voice.

  5. Paul was talking in Galatians about trusting in the grace of God rather than in religious rituals and the dogma of the day, that you don’t need to follow the Jewish law to please God, that you are free to Love your neighbour and love God. Galatians is a wonderful letter of freedom!

The problem with ‘no compromise’ is – what does it mean? Does it mean that you won’t allow anyone else to stray from the OT commandments? Does it mean that others will be judged and condemned to hell? Or does it mean that true Christians will never compromise in loving our fellow man, and loving God? Does it mean that we will never compromise in expecting our sins to be forgive “as we forgive those who sin against us”?

  6. What I’m trying to get across is that there are a lot of people writing books and attempting to reinvent the gospel, rewrite the bible, and recreate the message within. They’re like “Well, that bloody crucifixion death is awful and distasteful! We don’t need that..throw that out. Jesus was just a man, a good teacher though, with an important message about loving others. He wasn’t divine however, and He didn’t rise from the dead. Toss that out too.” etc., etc., etc.

There are people actually falling for this. They are compromising their beliefs, their faith, and their understanding in order to be politically correct or appeal to other people, to the times we live in. There are simply some things that cannot be compromised upon.

When we compromise what is written within the bible to the point that we no longer even recognize any point for why there was a Jesus, and accept Him being quite literally neutered of all power and divinity, it’s clear what’s occurring in the bigger picture of the thing.

I see Christians who are naive and completely falling for this, just as the unbelieving have and that’s a serious mistake.

  7. Epignosis,

    Long time no see (hugs)

Thanks for the compliments. We’re on the same page. 🙂

  8. So here is a question, when other Christians fall for these “lies of Satan” when does their level of deceit put them steadily on the course to Hell?

When does a Christian cross the line. How much of a heretic are they allowed to be until God says “Oooops, no! You crossed the line. To Hell with you now”
Would any of the following land them in hell:
    — Works are somewhat important — it can’t be all faith
    — Mary wasn’t a virgin
    — Jesus’ miracles were made up, but he died for our sins
    — only believe in the bianity (God and Jesus) not holy spirit
    — Jesus was a man who God adopted (Adoption heresy) but he did die for our sins

How much do they have to get right?
See my post on “Sliding into Heresy

The uncomfortable problems with these decisions should be obvious.

  9. […] There Is No Compromise ( […]

  10. I honestly don’t know, Sabio. Again, I’m not at all certain who will actually go to hell at the end of the day. Jesus tells us not to get too comfortable because many of those who believe they are going to heaven are not! They are obviously in for a rude shock….

Anyway, all I can do is guess, based upon what the bible tells us. I’m not at all comfortable condemning anyone to hell because I don’t really know their heart.

Can anyone really know another’s heart like God can? I don’t think so.

  11. Curious: On my blog, you liked non-Christians to oblivious people walking through the woods in Friday the 13th about to be hacked up by Jason. Thus you feel pity for those clueless souls but don’t look down on them — somehow, you thought that distinction was meaningful.

My question — do you envision Non-believers getting hacked up by Satan (Jason) BOTH in this life and the next?

So glad you were so frank about your mental visions.

  12. Sabio,

I gave an example on your blog. Basically it implies that they’ve been scammed out of what is good for them and are closer than they realize to something less than pleasant that wants them dead. But no, I don’t envision them getting hacked up by Satan in this life, just completely deluded and lied to.
